The Miyazu Lantern Fireworks Festival, held on August 16 every year, is a major event that gorgeously colors the summer of Miyazu.
The large fireworks that color the night sky are launched from the sea, and you can enjoy the powerful sight of the sea and the sky as one. The contrast between colorful fireworks and the light reflected on the water surface is a superb view suitable for the summer climax.

In the "Lantern sink", which is held prior to the launch, countless lights gently float in the sea along with the "Seireisen" handmade by local people, and are wrapped in a fantastic atmosphere. The scenery of the gorgeousness of fireworks and the gentle light of the lanterns creates a special moment that cannot be tasted elsewhere.

It is a summer tradition of Miyazu, which attracts about 70,000 tourists every year.
