Experience Ajikan

Ajikan is the oldest meditation method in Japan, which is said to have been handed down to Japan by Kobo Daishi Kukai, the founder of the Shingon sect.
It is said that adjusting "attitude", "breath" and "heart" can increase concentration, reduce stress and improve mood.
In addition, Nariaiji tells a story that when a monk was in danger of life, he prayed and saved by the principal Kannon Bodhisattva.
Nariaiji's Ajikan thanks Kannon for living today, and considers it to be a "heart totono" place for tomorrow.
Be sure to experience a special Aji Kan meditation surrounded by beautifully illuminated autumn leaves under the autumn evening sky.

Starry sky viewing experience invited by a starry sky guide

The view from Nariaiji Temple, which Ekiken Kaibara, who traveled around the country during the Edo period, described as "the scenery is unlanguageable and is one of the three most scenic spots in Japan (= convinced).
Hoshimidai has been newly established for a seasonal limited time at Bentenyama where you can relive it.
A beautiful starry sky spreads over the Amanohashidate and the Aso Sea that melts in the evening.
In addition, Miyazu City has been selected as the second most beautiful night sky in Japan.
At one of the few points that meet the two favorable conditions of superb view and starry sky, we will take you on a wonderful starry sky tour with a guide from a local starry sky guide.

※In the case of rain or cloudy weather, the starry sky appreciation will be canceled, but instead, special night visit at Nariaiji Hondo and limited exhibition of secret Buddhas will be held.

Autumn leaves light-up viewing

Nariaiji Temple is surrounded by beautifully illuminated autumn leaves under the evening sky in autumn.
The autumn leaves that dye the mountains are illuminated by soft lights, and a fantastic atmosphere wraps the precincts.
The appearance of the five-storied pagoda that emerges in silence shows a different taste from daytime, and gently heals the hearts of visitors.
Please enjoy the co-starring of light and color that can only be met on autumn nights.
